Crazy Man
In “Old Milon”, by Guy De Maupassant, Milon turns out to be a very crazy man. He was practically an ally of the Prussian soldiers. He gave the soldiers a place to stay so they could get better and return to war. Also, he probably did this so he could gain their trust so they would see him as a nice and respectful man. Then Old Milon cut off a man’s head for smoking a pipe near a ditch. He had killed the man because he had much hate for the Prussians. Milon then went on a killing spree through town while riding a horse. He told the coronal that he killed them because he wanted revenge for his father and son. Old Milon then was sent to trial and spat in the coronals face. He had spat in the coronals face because he didn’t want to listen to him but if he hadn’t spit in the coronals face, he could have lived instead of being shot.
